This day celebrates children as active participants in their own lives and their communities as active citizens who can meaningfully contribute to decisions that affect their lives. Across Canada, this day recognizes the importance of ensuring that all children are treated with dignity and respect and have every opportunity to reach their full potential.
In DSB1, we anticipate, identify and work to remove barriers for each learner and build strong partnerships and varied pathways for students to succeed.
