Throughout June, we will be honouring the history, heritage, and diversity of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples and recognizing how students at DSB1 learn about and participate in Indigenous culture and traditions.
At Timmins High and Vocational School, students demonstrate their participation in Indigenous culture with weekly drumming, smudging, and Cree teachings, offered through a partnership with Timmins Native Friendship Centre (TNFC).
